FEAR and HATE!
And hate of fear
Fear in the human being is an unnatural feeling and something we dislike very much, so we as being insufficiently equipped to deal with fear, hate the cause of that feeling.
I remember when I was just a lad, venturing out from the protection of my mothers wings, and the loving care she had provided for me all my life, I became familiar with the word fear, I was five years old when I was forced to fly, so as apprehensive as I was I was forced to spread my own wings just a little, and I won’t lie to you I was not looking forward to going to school, but they made me go anyway.
Things went fairly well the first week or so, but then things turned mean and dirty, I ran into a bully. He was a city boy and evidently did not like us country hicks. What he said he was going to do to me was not pretty. I went home that day with fear and hate of a thing I knew really nothing about, going to school. I made up every excuse I could think of not to go, but they said I was going anyway, and since they were bigger than me I knew I was going. So I talked to my grandpa about the real problem the bully.
He told of a similar situation he found himself in, and said he just stood up to that fear mongering bully, and later on married his sister.
The Grandpa/ Grandson talk gave me the courage to stand up, and it worked, The bully and I went to school together for nine years.
I recollect where a man of some fame once said “the only thing to fear is fear itself” you know I believe that President was right.
An even greater man preached against fear.
Mt:8:26: And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Mt:10:28: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
I know for a fact this man was right, because he is my Lord and savior and never wrong.
I hate to say it but fear has prevented me from writing this article much earlier than I did, Fear of rejection, rejection by the readers of my articles, I feared they would be insulted or take this message as an assault on their government officials, they had voted for, what ever the result I felt I could not endure that fear any longer, and I think It is time American leaders came out from behind a cloak of fear and started doing what we sent them to office to do take care of the peoples business.
But instead fear and hate has taken over the peoples business.
Our government tells us to do just the opposite of what our Lord told us to do. Fear your neighbor and hate your enemies. Keep a suspicious eye on your neighbor, if you see anything strange call the authorities. Is that what the Christian community has come to , what ever happened to the advise Jesus gave us.
Mt:5:43: Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Our government tells you to hate both, you don’t spy on the ones you love. Fear does awful things to a person’s physic, It causes people to do things they would never do under normal circumstances, even commit murder, sometimes thousands of murders.
44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Listen up Christians you have to make up your mind, as to who or what you are going to follow. Your government or Christ, when they run congruent I will follow both, but when they diverge I will follow my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I believe our leaders have lost their way and purpose , Christ never does.
Gal:6:17: From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18: Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
